The Starring Lincoln Theatre Company and Lincoln Cathedral work in partnership to produce work under the banner 'Theatre in the Nave'. The cathedral finance the community project and work with a volunteer creative team, led by Ben Poole, to engage as many local participants as possible to produce spectacular theatrical events in the breathtaking arena of the the cathedral nave. Having sold out their acclaimed production of Jesus Christ Superstar for two year's running the team were very excited about 2017's choice of Jekyll and Hyde, the Musical. The timeless story of humanity's struggle with the good and evil in their souls is set to a stirring score written by Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse (Goldfinger) and Steve Cuden. You are not likely to have seen a more atmospheric production of the show anywhere, with the famous Victorian Gothic story set in the atmospheric gothic architecture of Lincoln's iconic cathedral. Theatre made in Lincoln by the people of Lincoln, in Lincoln's, if not the world's, most beautiful building. We are pleased to say that the production has received great critical acclaim and has produced yet another sell-out with extra seats added for the remaining performances.
